Collaboration, cooperation and coordination with the UAB Prevention and Environment Service in its environmental policies, and in particular initiatives that are led by the UAB, given that EUTDH is an attached centre and depends on and is situated on the UAB Campus.
The development of internal learning activities for the university community (teaching, administrative and service staff as well as students) with a view to fulfilling the EUTDH environmental policy.
Awareness of environmental values in promotion, planning, commercialisation, management and administration of products, activities and tourism projects, with special attention to research and consultancy projects.
Development of the necessary internal and external communication activities, which would foster the fulfilment of our environmental management system.
The maximum possible reduction of consumption of resources and raw materials.
Coordination and collaboration with suppliers with a view to using ecological materials and products.
Compliance with environmental legislation or any other additional responsibilities in this area.
The UAB
works to acheive maximum quality in all its activities and in the different areas in which it participates. This is why different initiatives have been implemented and the University has been awarded official certificates for quality. The EUTDH has been one of the awarded UAB institutions.
In October 1999 the LGAI awarded the University School of Tourism and Hotel Management
the national and European UNE-EN ISO 9002 certification for quality. In 2003, the quality system was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate both for its teaching methods and its administration. L'EUTDH
was the first university centre in the whole of Spain to be awarded this certificate.
