Award for competitiveness
The UAB University School of Tourism and Hotel Management has received a
competitiveness award in the speciality of organisational innovation.
Catalonia) acknowledge innovative initiatives which facilitate the achievement of results and advantages as well as invigorating Catalan society and contributing to its entrepreneurial spirit. The educational and managerial system at EUTDH has always worked along such lines with a view to being a university reference point in the world of Tourism and Hotel Management. On the 24 January 2008 the President of the Generalitat, Mr. José Montilla and the Head of the Department of Innovation, Universities and and Business, Mr. Josep Huguet, awarded the prize to the Director of EUTDH , Mr Francesc Uroz and the administrator, Ms Mª Àngels Rodríguez. The event was also attended by several members of the UAB, the UAB Foundation and the EUTDH. |
